In Athens 2004 I won the silver medal in the +91 kg contest. it was a moment of victroy and glory but it reminded me with my whole story with boxing started 14 years ago and how hard the way was. This achievement was actually started at that time. In the next few lines, I give you the full story from the begining to tell everyone that you should work hard for the thing you love.
  I have strated boxing in 1991 after I finished my intermediate school. I was trainig wrestling 6 monthes before turning into boxing. But I did not really like it. My first steps in the world of boxing were in Al-Shorta Sporting Club with my couch Abdul Hameed Osman. He gave me a good and special care. So I had the chance to take part with the first team of the club. This team was very good, and I remeber that most of the national team's boxers were part of it. I have won the first position in Cairo Boxing Championship for youth by the knockout in all my fights. two weeks later, I was in Shebeen El Kom and I won the third position in Egypt Boxing Championship for youth. I retruned to Cairo and I decided to increase my hard trainging to achieve the first position next year with my trainer who wanted to make a good boxer from me. In 1992 I could achieve the first position in Egypt's Boxing Championship for youth. I won in all my fights by the knockout. I also did the same in the year after. Then I joined the national team for youth. One of the real hard experiences in my whole life was in one of the most powerful championships in Egypt, "Challenge Championship" in Ismaeelia in 1994. I won in all the fights by the knockout till I reached the final and I met Hisham Saad who was a very good boxer. I had a strong fight and I won 12 to 4.
